Any person who wishes to engage in any activity meeting the statutory definition of “escrow agent” or “escrow agency” is required to fulfill certain education requirements under NRS 645A.
Education for Initial LicensureAny applicant for an initial license as an escrow agent must complete at least 15 hours of pre-licensing education in approved courses from the subjects set forth in NAC 645A.070.
Education for Continuation of Licensing
To satisfy the requirements for continuing education provided for in NRS 645A.039, a licensed escrow agent must complete at least 10 hours of approved courses of continuing education during the 12 months immediately preceding the date on which the license expires.
